Livestreaming
Since 2020, Sarah has hosted a weekly live baking show on Twitch. During these edu-taitional demonstrations, she keeps her audience engaged while maintaining an inclusive and positive atmosphere. She has proudly used her platform to raise over $6000 for charity.
Social Media
How will everyone know you’ve baked a cake unless you show it off on social media? Sarah photographs every one of her creations, and she both films and edits elaborate videos to share with her fanbase online.
Sponsorships
Sarah is proud to have completed multiple sponsorships, using her work to highlight campaigns for a world-renown brand.
Livestreaming
When one door closes, another opens. As the world shut down in March 2020, Sarah had an opportunity to experiment with live video production on the livestreaming platform, Twitch. This little experiment was a rousing success, and with the encouragement of her peers, support of her partner, and more time on her hands than ever, Sarah dove headfirst into the world of streaming.
To this day, Sarah hosts a live baking show every week, where she demonstrates creating a dessert from start to finish. Each stream requires planning and preparing, from gathering ingredients and materials, to figuring out how to execute an original design, often without even a rehearsal. She experiments and learns on the fly every week, in front of a live audience, with the hope that something fun and tasty comes out of it. Before Twitch, Sarah was creating new desserts every month or so, and now she creates something new every week - sometimes even multiple desserts in a single week!
Part of the joy in streaming for Sarah is the opportunity to entertain and engage with people - something she’d always been passionate about, but never found the right outlet for. She loves getting to chat with regular viewers who never miss a stream, meet new people, tell stories, share her baking knowledge, and sometimes even sing! Over time, she has fostered a community who shares her values of kindness, inclusion, and respect.
Livestreaming has also been an avenue for Sarah to give back, and engage her community in fundraising for a variety of causes. By using fun incentives, from storytelling via puppetry, to eating unpleasant foods, to shaving her head, Sarah has raised over $6,000 USD for charities such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the American Heart Association, and Starlight Children’s Foundation. She has also been selected as a St. Jude Ambassador from 2022-2024.
Social Media
Baking a pretty cake is nice and all, but capturing it in all its glory is a whole other ball game. As Sarah has gained experience with new baking techniques, she simultaneously learned the art of photography, food staging, videography, and editing. As she grasped the ways of the piping bag, so too did she study the intricacies of the Sony α6400.
Making food look just as delectable on a screen as it does in person is a challenge - especially when said food might also be trying to look like something else entirely! Sarah uses a variety of equipment, techniques, and editing to make her photos stand out and feel fresh, especially in an ever-evolving social media landscape. In a world that prioritizes video content, Sarah has also learned to edit short-form videos showing off her creations and moments from her livestreams, some of which have gained thousands of views.
Managing a social media presence can be daunting and unpredictable as an independent creator, but Sarah has consistently maintained accounts on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and more. She stays appraised of current trends, while never sacrificing her quality and unique voice.

Sarah was thrilled and honoured to be sponsored by The Pokémon Company International for two social media campaigns. The deliverables for both included multiple social media posts, videos, as well a 2-hour sponsored livestream that involved both baking a themed treat, and highlighting in-game activations via gameplay on the Nintendo Switch.
